In
the fall of '86, at a meeting of friends, the conversation turned on
events variously liven up a bit' the life of our country. It
seemed that among the numerous initiatives of sporting, leisure and
culture should not miss what should enhance the most typical product of
our land: the red radicchio from Treviso, this prized vegetable that
over centuries had its cradle right here at Dosson , where our farmers grow it always with care and art.
Thus
was born the idea of organizing a street festival to promote more and
better radicchio dossonese, emphasizing the age-old tradition, the idea
is the unanimous consensus of those present at that meeting friendly.
