International Competition Spirit of Wine, cartoons on wine |

Saturday,
September 18, 2010 at 18.30 at Palazzo Florio in Udine, will host the
awards ceremony of the 11th edition of Spirit of Wine, the International
Competition, which annually celebrates the most entertaining and
original cartoons on the theme of wine. The competition, organized annually by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia region in collaboration with the European Institute of Design, City University of Udine and the Cassa di Risparmio del Friuli Venezia Giulia, collects and selects the most beautiful and funny cartoons on wine made from young people aged between 18 and 35 years. International Competition Spirit of Wine, cartoons on wine During the past editions, the contest Spirit of Wine was noted especially for its international scope, aimed specifically at young people of all nationalities and many different backgrounds from which come the works, from many European countries until ' Latin America, from Japan to China and Russia. The international competition leads to a multiplicity and variety of inspirations and original creation that are then judged by a panel led by exceptional Alfio Krancic President and Honorary President Giorgio Forattini. Jurors are names of famous Italian satirical view of journalism and graphic design: Emilio Giannelli (cartoonist) Valeria Marini (cartoonist) Gianluigi Colin (art director of Corriere della Sera), Franz Botro (editor of the Divine Spirit magazine) Carlo Cambi (editor of the magazine Wine Passion), Paul Marks (journalist for Il Giornale), Aldo Colonetti (scientific director of the 'European Institute of Design), Fede & Tinto (Decanter - RadioRai) Francesco Salvi (actor).
