Sunday, May 16th will be a special day for a group of boys of the Italian people down. At the Cantina di Giorgio Cecchetto, Tezze di Piave, will take place Raboso bottled 2009 vintage, which crowns the efforts of these kids from 5 years passionately devoted to the production of this special nectar produced in our province.
The initiative is made under the Social Project Independence, which sees the boys involved in all phases of wine production, from harvest to pressing, the bottling process, until completion of the labels, hand-drawn to a strictly one. Every year these guys turn into wine growers and wine makers, producing about 500 bottles Raboso the Piave, a wine territory of absolute typicality and tradition, even more sophisticated in the world market. At last Vinitaly institutional stand of the Veneto Region Raboso boys down was offered to visitors to the wine world's great review. But what has perhaps the most moving these tenants was special delivery of bottled No 1 of the 2009 vintage to President Giorgio Napolitano, during a visit to the prestigious wine fair. The presence of Down's children with their Raboso Brand is a tradition started at the same Vinitaly Zaia, then Vice President of the Region, since 2006 and since then repeated annually. This afternoon, 15 to propose the boys down about 500 bottles of their products to visitors of Vinitaly, calling them a concrete gesture of solidarity with those less fortunate. L’Associazione nazionale Persone Down ha oltre trent’anni; la sezione della Marca trevigiana è nata nel 2004 e Zaia, allora presidente della Provincia, ne ha sempre sostenuto l’attività. La sezione della Marca conta 150 soci, tra i quali 62 ragazzi di ogni età con sindrome di down. |
