Verona,
3 February 2010 - will be the Minister of Agriculture, Food and
Forestry Luca Zaia Veronafiere to open tomorrow morning at 10, along
with institutional and economic (Veneto Region Vice President Franco
Manzato, the mayor of Verona, Flavio Tosi, President
of the Province of Verona and the chairman John Miozzi Veronafiere
Ettore Riello), the 109th edition of Fieragricola, scheduled until
Sunday, February 7 (www.fieragricola.com).
The
event, national and international leaders in the field (this is the
second in Europe for number of players and the first for the dynamic
tests), hosts 1321 exhibitors (about 4.5 percent more than the 2008
edition), of which 15
percent foreign, on an area of 120 thousand square meters (over 20
thousand square meters of outdoor area reserved for the field-testing
of equipment and equipment). Receives
735 animals, which will parade into the ring for two international
competitions: the 'European Brown Swiss Championship, third edition of
the championship heads adults sponsored by the European Federation of
Brown Swiss, and the eighth edition of the "European Open Holstein Show
, dedicated to the Friesian breed.
The
system of thematic exhibitions runs on five areas: Agrimeccanica, the
space devoted to technological and process innovations in the field of
mechanical engineering, machinery and farm equipment; Agriservice
reserved for innovative services for the development of agriculture;
Agripiazza, the
area of interactive multimedia on the use of technical means in
agriculture; Zoosystem, a showcase of technologies and farming
equipment from income, nutritional products and animal health,
fertility centers and companies in the marketing of seed veterinary instruments and apparatus.
This
year, in association with Fieragricola 2010, will take place Bioenergy
Expo, the exhibition devoted to renewable energy sources in
agriculture, www.bioenergyweb.it, in strong growth.
There
will be, then, after the success of the previous edition, even the
halls of multifunctionality and precision agriculture, and debuted
"Agrilabor - dell'agromeccanica professions," an area of meeting the
demands of employment.
A
Fieragricola also will discuss the results of a survey conducted by
Nomisma, in collaboration with the magazine country life, on the 'hobby
farming'.
And
there are plans also focus on the future of European agricultural
mechanization, with the "European Day of the contractor," organized by
VeronaFiere and Unima-Confindustria, in collaboration with the European
Association Ceettar.
In
the afternoon, at 15 and 30, is scheduled to arrive at Fieragricola,
Paolo De Castro, former minister and current chairman of the
Agriculture Committee of Parliament.
